Founders & Administrators

Maetzi Miller is the Founder and Directress of Cosmos Montessori in East Dallas and a bilingual Montessori education advocate with over 20 years of experience. She leads a growing educational ecosystem that includes a school, a nonprofit, and a teacher training center, all focused on expanding access, strengthening the workforce, and building confident, bilingual global leaders.

Introducing our three silent partners, whose strategic support and belief in our vision have played a critical role in bringing this work to life. Their contributions, though behind the scenes, have been instrumental in shaping our growth and impact. We are deeply grateful for their continued commitment to our mission and the community we serve.

Karolina Morales is an education professional with four years of experience supporting student development and school communities. She holds a Master’s degree in School Psychology and brings a strong foundation in both academic and social-emotional support. Karolina is certified in Infant CPR and trained in Psychological First Aid, allowing her to respond effectively to the health and well-being needs of young children. She also holds a Montessori 0–3 Assistant Guide certification and has train

Charles McGarry is legal counsel for Cosmos Montessori, bringing over 40 years of experience in law. His background includes appellate law, serving as a Chief Justice, and extensive work in entertainment law. He provides strategic legal guidance to support the school’s operations, growth, and long-term stability.

Pamela Esquivel studied for a Master’s degree in International Relations and Foreign Affairs and has been working in the field since 2020. She brings a global perspective and strong communication skills to her role, supporting collaboration and engagement within the organization.

Penelope Esquivel is currently pursuing her training to become a flight attendant and is now joining our team. She brings a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for service. She also supports the foundation, assisting with community initiatives and outreach efforts.

I am Ms. Kathy, a Dallas-based music and movement teacher with 25 years of experience. I use music and movement to create a experience for children aged birth through 7 utilizing singing, instruments, and eurythmics to help children appreciate music and experience rhythm.

Hi, I'm Vane! I am a Pastry Chef at "Tickle Me Sweets" & Jewelry Designer, but in the summer, I am a Summer Camp Teacher of Baking & Cooking, & Art at Cosmos Montessori! I am Bilingual. Lets get creative!
Ms. Ana: Yoga Teacher
I am Ms. Ana, a multicultural Yoga instructor and certified personal trainer with a fervent dedication to wellness and a healthy lifestyle. I advocates passionately for bilingual teachings in all aspects of life and am proud of it!
Ms. Anna: Ballet Teacher
I am the owner and teacher of Volga Verve. I love teaching ballet at Cosmos Montessori.
Ms. Mary Lou: Piano Teacher
Mary Lou Cooper, a music industry professional with 30 years of experience, is passionate about music. She teaches piano in Dallas, focusing on classical, pop, and jazz music for all ages. As a performer and songwriter, she aims to entertain and inspire. With a degree in public relations and piano performance, she has performed at various venues and events, showcasing her original songs. Additionally, she has been involved in music organizations and teaching music in schools, and loves her children at Cosmos Montessori!
MEET OUR INTERNATIONAL CHEF
Introducing children to international meals and farm-to-table cuisine can have a positive impact on their health and wellness. Our house Chef exposes them to a variety of flavors and ingredients, children can develop a more diverse palate and a greater appreciation for healthy, fresh foods. Additionally, farm-to-table meals provide a unique opportunity for children to learn about where their food from and the importance sustainable agriculture; our onsite chef uses these items from the garden and chickens the children help take care of daily.
MEET OUR EXTRACURRICULAR ATIVITIES GUIDES
Engaging in extracurricular activities is crucial for children's development. From ballet to soccer, music to chess, these activities help foster confidence, empathy, social skills, and even mental health. By participating in a variety of activities, children can explore interests and develop a well-rounded set of skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Ms. Yoli is a Lead Infant Teacher at Cosmos Montessori and is excited to be part of the community. She brings experience as an Assistant Toddler Guide and is bilingual, supporting strong communication with both children and families. Ms. Yoli is certified in Infant to Adult First Aid and CPR and trained in the State of Texas curriculum. She is also an Infant Montessori Bilingual Certified Guide through Caminos International Training Center for Bilingual Montessori Education.

Angie is our Lead Infant Guide at Cosmos Montessori and brings five years of experience in early childhood education. She is passionate about working with young children and continues to grow in her Montessori practice each day. Angie is Primary trained through CESAPTI, certified in Infant First Aid and CPR, and trained in the State of Texas curriculum. She is also an Infant Montessori Bilingual Certified Guide through Caminos International Training Center for Bilingual Montessori Education,

Ms. Flor is Infant Guide at Cosmos Montessori. She is a native Spanish speaker and supports a bilingual learning environment. She holds a bachiller degree and has training as a clinical laboratory assistant, along with First Aid certification. Ms. Flor is developing her experience in early childhood education while supporting a nurturing and organized classroom.

Ms. Mari has over 35 years of experience working with children. She is bilingual and has been certified as a substitute teacher at the community level for six years, as well as a state-certified instructor. She brings extensive experience and dedication to supporting children’s learning and development.
